LANGUAGE
The official language of the meeting is English. Simultaneous translation will not be provided.

NAME BADGES
Attendees will be required to wear their delegate badges at all times access to the Meeting Venue area, during the Gala Dinner and tours.

ORAL PRESENTATIONS
PowerPoint format, time for presentation - maximum 10 minutes and 5 minutes for discussion.
Speaker’s preparation room will be open in the same hours as Secretariat / Registration Desk. All speakers are asked to deliver their CD-R in the Registration Desk or speaker’s room as soon as possible (minimum one hour before the beginning of their session).

POSTER PRESENTATIONS
Poster boards are A1, portrait style (max. 841 mm wide by 1189 mm high).
Please leave posters at reception desk – persons from Organising Committee will hanged them in appropriate place.
Authors of presented posters must attend at their posters and to answer for questions during each Poster Presentation Tour.

THREE THE BEST POSTERS WILL BE AWARDED, EACH OF THEM 300 €.

CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE
A certificate of attendance will be provided for each participant.

COFFEE BREAKS
Coffee, tea and cakes are served in the Meeting Venue.

LUNCH
Lunch is served at the Meeting Venue.

TELEPHONE
You can use public telephones with phone cards which can be obtained at the post offices, airport, railway stations, kiosks and in some hotels.

LIABILITY
The Congress Secretariat and Organizers cannot accept liability for personal accidents, loss of belongings or damage to private property of participants, students and accompanying persons that may unfortunately happen during the ESVP 2004 Congress. Participants should make their own arrangements with respect to health, travel and property insurance before they depart from their country.

Conditions of acceptance

The deadline for submission of abstracts is May 1st, 2009.

No abstract should be accepted unless accompanied by the Abstract Submission Form and fee payment confirmed by e-mail or fax. Authors will be informed by before the end of July 2009 about the acceptance of the abstract and the form of presentation (oral or poster presentation).

Abstracts should be in English, the official language of the meeting, and should describe original, previously unpublished findings. They will be published in the form submitted by the Authors.

Abstracts for authors of oral and poster presentations should not exceed 240 words, including title, authors and affiliations, and should adopt the following format:

Abstracts from previous meetings are available on the ESVP website: http://www.esvp.eu and instruction with details and example are on this page (on your left hand side).
Abstracts will be selected for oral or poster presentation by the Joint Scientific Committee of ESVP/ECVP. The results of this review will be communicated to authors before the end of July 2009. Substandard and poorly-prepared abstracts may be rejected.

The abstracts will be subjected to editorial review and will be published this year for the first time in the Journal of Comparative Pathology.
